Let's drink Pocari Sweat

Recording podcasts and drinking a Japanese sports drink at 11 pm on a Tuesday evening

Let's drink Pocari Sweat

Back in August, I saw a tweet from Marko Jukic extolling the virtues of a Japanese sports drink called Pocari Sweat.

@mmjukic on Twitter: "I don't know how they do it, but you can add inventing the perfect sports drink to the list of Japan's accomplishments. Uncanny. Tastes like how water tastes in a dream."

Naturally, my interest was piqued. Sports drink. Japan. Dream water. How could I not try this?

Join me on the Night Water podcast as I tell you the origin story of Pocari Sweat, run through some of my favorite Pocari Sweat commercials, and taste Pocari Sweat LIVE on a pre-recorded podcast.
